Centenario Stadium (Av. Americo Ricaldoni, Montevideo) — this 60,000-seat stadium, built in 1929 to host the 1930 FIFA World Cup, is the current home of the Uruguayan national football team.  Local teams Peñarol and Nacional also hold games there.  In addition, the stadium hosts various musical events by pop and rock acts like Aerosmith, Charly Garcia, Enrique Iglesias, Luis Miguel, Rod Stewart, Ruben Blades, Sting, and others.
